Ladies and Gentlemen Tony Dungy Has Left The Building

Tony Dungy, one of the classiest and most respected head coaches in the NFL has decided to call it quits in order to spend more time with his family, and who could blame him? After resurrecting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from the garbage heap of the NFL and laying the foundation for their Super Bowl victory and winning a Super Bowl in Indianapolis there was nothing else to achieve.

This move is one that has been expected for a few years now which is why the Colts had named quarterbacks coach Jim Caldwell head coach in waiting. As far as the offense goes, nothing will change much. Peyton Manning will throw touchdown passes and the Colts will win games. Larry Coyer, previously the defensive line coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has been brought in to replace Ron Meeks as defensive coordinator. Not much will change here either as he will continue to run the Tampa 2 that Tony Dungy has been running.
